An eco-futuristic utopia where nature interacts with technology in this self-sufficient eco-system.

TILLVÄXT (Growth) is a new public artwork for the new commercial and industrial area in Saltvik, Härnösand. The artwork is first at the site and the area will grow around this "thing". The project made me think about the word growth, it's history and how we use it today. A word that comes from nature but is now mostly associated with finance. Ironically, financial growth often comes with a cost; the decrease of the natural world.
